New Jersey Performing Arts Center Traffic + Parking Management Plan
Sam Schwartz created a multi-phase traffic + parking management plan to facilitate and expedite access to the available parking lots and nearby Military Park Garage for patrons attending performances at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. The primary objective of this project was to improve the holistic customer experience and reduce impacts to the adjacent public roadways. Several contingency plans were developed to address various scenarios, ranging from sold-out shows to back-to-back events requiring simultaneous ingress and egress. Additionally, an immediate, mid-term, and long-term strategy was produced to accommodate changing demands and available resources over time.
