Sara Disney Haufe, PE, PTOE, Promoted to Vice President
Sam Schwartz is pleased to announce that Sara Disney Haufe, PE, PTOE, has been promoted to Vice President.
Sara’s practice is grounded in building deep, trusting relationships with clients and the community and providing thoughtful solutions tailored to the unique needs of each project and its stakeholders. She has earned a national reputation as a transportation thought leader and is a frequent advisor to both the real estate community and municipal policymakers. She also serves on the Urban Land Institute’s Transit-Oriented Development Council and is Director of Traffic Engineering for Sam Schwartz’s Chicago office.
“Over the course of her career in Chicago, Sara has built a reputation for technical excellence working on some of our region's most high-profile projects—including the Obama Presidential Center, the Salt Shed music venue, the Discovery Partners Institute innovation hub, and the future reconfiguration of Randolph Street in the West Loop,” said Peter Wojtkiewicz, Vice President and Chicago General Manager. “She has also led the firm’s expansion into new locales, such as Houston, Memphis, and Des Moines.
